Ugh! That’s all I can say.. I am amazed that human evolution hasn’t worked out those people with weak teeth leaving the new generation with teeth resilient against yellowing, cavities, and the much annoying growth of wisdom teeth. I guess when you go on a date one of your criteria isn’t a full dental history (I guess if that had been the case Luke would have dumped me a long time ago). I’ve decided that if I am ever in an accident or something like that.. I’m going to see if I can get new teeth.. not dentures or something like that, but rather those really cool ones that are in your jaw that could make the metal detector at the airport go off.
The point of my rant: I don’t have any cavities… that’s great, right? Well I do still have three wisdom teeth that have decided not to grow correctly. So the count down to spending a ton of money has started. On Friday September 28th I get the rest of the wisdom teeth taken out. I feel awful about it all. There’s nothing I can really help but I hate to spend our extra money. I feel like we work so hard and then some of those little things sneak up. I think I take super good care of my teeth b/c I HATE going to the dentist.
As far as the future goes I know that Luke seems to have ok teeth.. for someone that doesn’t brush twice a day everyday he seems to be all right. As for our future children, as long as they live under our roof they will brush their teeth twice a day (oh the punishment). Perhaps when they start dating I’ll make dental records a criteria.
