There are a few things going on now that it’s gotten cooler. I now work later in the evening. That’s been somewhat difficult since Luke and I had gotten so used to running the grocery before dinner. Now we have to figure out what we are going to eat for dinner at lunch. Going to the gym has become more difficult. While I COULD get up in the morning and go– I just find that so hard– esp. since it’s cold in the morning. Maybe I’m a wimp.
I’ve starting a new body of artwork.. it’s a series of paintings discussing chemistry and nature. Not really sure where it’s going but it’s something new and worth exploring. I get so excited when it comes to new ideas but impatient when it comes to producing them.
Luke and I have been actively looking for new foods and
dishes to add to our everyday. Lately I have been drinking hot tea like it’s going out of style: which is a great way to stay cozy and get your daily allowance of water. Luke bought an espresso maker and small battery operated frother. It’s easy to make a cappuccino and taste’s just as good as one you’d get anywhere else. The espresso maker will pay for it’s self with just 4 or 5 cups of coffee: a worthy investment.
Other than that I have finally laid my hands on a book I have been looking forward to reading. “The Dangerous Book for Boys”
by Conn and Hal Iggulden has been a really fun read. I love “trivia” style books: you know the ones that are full of information that everyone should know but doesn’t. It’s great stuff for conversation. While there is a book for girls called “The Daring Book for Girls” I thought I’d start with the boys since it covers more subjects I’m actually interested in.
