Simple Solution: Throw Pillow

Recently Luke and I repainted our living room and have been trying to fix our apartment up while staying on some sort of budget. I was at the store a couple weeks back and found these pretty napkins on sale. I decided that a little batting and embroidery would do them some good. I took a piece of batting a little bigger than the napkin and hooped them in a large embroidery hoop. I then embroidered along the lines of the pattern in a simple running stitch. After that I cut a coordinating fabric to the size of the napkin and then  sewed a zipper according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After sewing up the other three sides of the pillow and inserting my old throw pillow I had a completely new, brighter, happier pillow. It’s amazing how you can just take a simple little thing and make it something special.
