So I think I am taking a break from serious artwork and doing something a little more silly. Recently I discovered that I have an interest in doodle-like painting and painted two paintings as donation for the Happy Paws Spay and Neuter Clinic. I did it as an experiment and because I have a strong feeling that the clinic does a lot for my community and therefore deserves something special as a thank you. After this experience I feel like I need to take a breather and have a little fun with painting. I’m contemplating doing a small series of various sized paintings to sell at the Brass Band Festival in early June. I have little time to work on it but I think I could sell a couple.
