Way to go, Betty! I would have passed out after the first mile. You always were good at cross country. If I remember right, Bekah talked you into joining the team with her, then she dropped out and you stayed in. I’m glad to see you are staying active, even though you are so busy with everything else. Since you have access to a gym, make sure you add a bit of weight lifting to your routine. There are certain strengthening exercises for the quadriceps and hamstrings that are indispensable for runners with knee problems. Annie & I have both struggled with this (she even more than I), so please feel free to call for tips or just to vent about the extreme frustration of uncooperative body parts!
